Homemade Pizza
Course: Main Course
Servings: 3 large pizzas (or 4 med.)
  • 3 cups warm water
  • 1 Tbsp yeast
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • flour enough for a soft dough
Pizza Sauce:
  • 15-16 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp garlic salt
  1. Dough: Dissolve yeast in warm water with sugar and wait 5 min.  Add oil, salt, and enough flour to make a soft dough.  

  2. Knead 5 min. Let rise in greased bowl for 30 min. covered with cloth. Divide into desired portions.  Roll or pat on greased pizza pan or use parchment paper on a heated pizza stone.  Spread sauce. Bake at 430-450 for about 12-13 min. Remove from oven and add desired toppings. Bake until cheese is bubbly.
