Marlene Jolley's Lemon Bars

Ingredients
Crust:
  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • dash salt
Filling:
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Crust:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix butter, powdered sugar, flour and salt. Pat into a 9x13 pan and bake for 15 min.

Filling:
  1. Meanwhile, beat eggs. Add sugar, lemon juice, and flour. Spread mixture over baked crust. Return to oven and bake another 25 min. (until lightly browned). Cool somewhat and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
