- 4 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 16 oz. can pumpkin
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 c. raisins (optional)
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. powdered sugar

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 x 1)

Beat well eggs, sugar, oil, and pumpkin. Sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda salt ginger, and cloves. Stir into pumpkin mixture. Add raisins if desired.

Bake in greased pan at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, until light brown. Cool. Frost with cream cheese frosting.

Mix cream cheese, softened, with butter and vanilla. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until smooth. Spread on cooled spice bars and sprinkle with nuts if desired.
