Trim off excess fat/skin from chicken pieces and wash. Dip pieces in melted butter; roll in mixture of crushed potato chips and cereal, garlic salt, and dash of pepper. Place pieces of chicken skin side up, not touching in greased large shallow baking pan. (We usually line the pan with parchment or foil instead of greasing it for easy clean-up. I also have a cooling rack that fits in the pan and we place the chicken pieces on that for cooking.) Sprinkle with remaining butter and crumbs. Bake at 375 about 1 hour, or til done. Do not turn.
