Grandma Free's Chicken Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients
  • 1 chicken, boiled
  • 1 bunch fresh broccoli
  • 2 cans Cream of Chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup Miracle Whip
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • grated cheese
  • dry bread crumbs
Instructions
  1. Boil whole chicken (cover with water and add 1 tsp. celery salt and 1 tsp. onion salt for 1-1 1/2 hours.  Debone.  (Or use boneless chicken breast boiled for 20 min.)  Steam broccoli in a small amount of water.  Stir soup, Miracle Whip, and lemon juice.  Place chicken chunks and broccoli in a 9 x 13 in. casserole dish.  Cover with soup mixture then sprinkle with grated cheese and bread crumbs to taste.  Bake at 375 for 40 min.
