Grandma Jamison's Milk Toast

  • 1 lb. bacon
  • flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • onion salt
  • toast, unbuttered
  1. Brown bacon in a frying pan.  Set bacon aside.  Save drippings and add an equal amount of flour into it stirring over medium heat until it bubbles to make a roux.  Add about 2 cups milk and stir while it thickens.  Add a little onion salt.  Serve over toast.
